“So many people turned up to my meet and greet at Macy’s Glendale to promote my fragrance. I am always overwhelmed by how supportive you guys are! I love you all,” said the socialite on her Facebook account.

Kim's perfume contains gardenia, tuberose and jasmine and comes in a translucent, round black bottle with her initials KK emblazoned across the front. The Kim Kardashian fragrance package includes a 3.4 oz. Eau de Pafum spray, Accord fragrance set and a rollerball pink tote bag for $110. The release of the Kim’s new scent has sparked a bit of irony since Kim’s sister Khole and brother in law Lamar Odom released a unisex fragrance unbreakable two weeks ago.

“I purchased Lamar and Khole’s cologne about a week a half ago and bought this Kim Kardashian perfume for my girlfriend, but it’s so weird that the release dates were not spread out,” said Roland Briggs, a frequent Macy’s shopper that arrived four hours before the arrival of Kim. “Who know’s maybe Kourtney will release one in a few months to complete the hat trick.”

Despite the family competition in the scent business, the talented reality star headed to Armenian restaurant Carousel in Hollywood with her family to celebrate what would have been her late father Robert's 67th birthday.

Kim is highly rumored to be joining a mob movie that has John Travolta attached to it and if that’s not enough for the Kardashian fan clan, they can keep up with her when she launches her second fragrance Kim Kardashian Gold in April 2011.
