“I’m getting back
into the ring because the wrestling business needs to be flipped over again like I did with WCW in 1994,” said the Hulkster.
“I think fans are bored that the WWE is the only company being stuck down their throats and want to have a choice in
wrestling programming again.”
TNA will attempt to capitalize on Hogan’s
celebrity outside of wrestling to ensnare additional viewers than the 2 million fans that watch their programming on Spike
TV. The 56 year old grappler says that he will be involved in more management than wrestling action given that he has severe
back and knee problems. “I’m going to have a Vince McMahon role in TNA and try to give my experience about the
business to others,” said Hogan.

No start date has been set for when
Hogan will make his first appearance on TNA programming; however promos of his appearance have been taped and should begin
airing within weeks. Later this month he will link up for a tour with another wrestling legend Ric Flair in Australia.
